Terms and Conditions: Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the "Safe Route" student transportation application. By using the application, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. 1. Application Usage: A. The application is intended for parents, bus drivers, companies, and any other entities seeking transportation services. You must be at least 18 years old to use the application. B. The user agrees to provide accurate and updated information during the registration process and to maintain the confidentiality of their account data. C. The user is responsible for all activities that occur within their account. 2. Route Creation and Approval: A. The user provides the required information through the application, and the requests are later sorted and routes are determined accordingly. B. Routes are subject to approval by the application administrators. The administrators may modify routes as needed for improvement. C. A trial period of the first three days of transportation is available for both parties, during which withdrawal and discontinuation can occur by either party (service provider or user). D. The contract covers the entire school year from the user's enrollment date, including exam weeks and breaks, and is not affected by personal transportation. 3. Payment: A. The user is responsible for paying transportation fees through the application or any other agreed-upon method with the service provider. B. The user must pay the first month's fee to secure the seat, and the amount will be deducted from the total installment. C. The user can choose to pay the installment annually or monthly. D. If the user withdraws from the contract without breach or coordination between the parties, the user is obligated to pay the full agreed-upon months. E. Payments are due in advance each month during the school year, and payment invoices will be provided through the application. F. The user will be notified of payment deadlines through automated messages. G. In case of payment delay, the user will be notified three days before service suspension. If payment is not made within a week, transportation will be automatically reinstated upon payment. 4. Bus Driver Selection: A. Application administrators select bus drivers based on qualifications, interviews, and other selection methods. B. The service provider can change drivers, buses, or supervisors to improve the service. C. The service provider enforces appropriate penalties to ensure quality. 5. Communication and Notifications: A. The application provides messaging and notification features for communication between users and bus drivers. B. All communication must be respectful and professional. Misuse may result in service suspension or termination. C. Communication with drivers is limited to the in-app messaging feature. D. After a week of route stability, students wait for the bus at their designated time and leave their home upon notification of route stability (confirmed through an official message). B. In case of exceptional circumstances that hinder route continuation, such as sudden decrease in beneficiaries or other compelling reasons, the service provider can notify beneficiaries of route suspension with at least a two-week notice, and the remaining months of the contract will be void. 7. Data Privacy: A. The service provider collects, uses, and discloses personal information according to its privacy policy. B. By using the application, you consent to the processing of your information as outlined in the privacy policy. 8. Intellectual Property: A. All intellectual property rights related to the application and its content are owned by the service provider. B. You are not allowed to use, copy, modify, or distribute any part of the application without written consent from the service provider. 9. Prohibited Activities: A. The user agrees not to use the application for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes. B. If violations by the user cause harm or expenses to other students, the service provider, or its staff, the user is responsible for those costs. The user will be notified of such instances. 10. Service: A. While efforts are made to ensure the security and reliability of the application, it is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. B. Strong servers and strict security measures have been implemented to protect your information. However, due to the nature of internet-based services, uninterrupted and flawlessly secure operation cannot be guaranteed. C. Information, materials, and content on the application are subject to change without prior notice. D. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our privacy policy. 11. Applicable Law: A. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws and interpretations of the Sultanate of Oman. B. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the courts of the Sultanate of Oman. C. In case of discrepancies between the Arabic and English versions of this agreement, the Arabic version will prevail.
